Spring Treatments

After all of the snow we have had over the last few weeks, lots of my customers are asking what sort of treatments and services should they be doing to their lawns. Late February, March and April are perfect months to think about booking your moss treatments. Moss is a common problem over Winter that can be easily be removed by adding moss removal to your treatment plan with a iron based spray treatment.

Once your grass is looking lush and green and the moss is dead, scarification is carried out to remove organic matter from around the base of the grass and tidy up any straggly lateral growth. In a nutshell, scarification removes the dead moss, probably in the form of thatch or moss that will otherwise prevent great lush grass growth.
