Now is a great time to over seed your Lawn, a good multi-purpose grass seed is the best bet for most Lawns.
How Much Grass Seed?
Do NOT automatically assume more is better! I’ve seen patch repairs done where you can’t see the soil for grass seed. This will cause extremely thick growth that will stick out like a sore thumb. If unsure stick to about 10 to 20 seeds per square inch.
How to apply the grass seed.
A good tip is to split your seed in to 5 x separate containers of equal amounts, use the first container of seed for the outside edge of the lawn and then divide the remainder of the Lawn in to four separate sections. Start and the edge of each quarter and work your way in to the middle.
